Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess the legal perspectives of the cooperative in the restructuring of the Cuban socialist economic model. For this purpose it will start with analyzing the thought of the classics of Marxism around cooperatives, to ponder lessons that have full effect. In a second part it will value the common features of the relation State-law-and cooperative in the models attached —as the Cuban— to socialism real or classic. It concludes with constructive comments to the political Guidelines that will guide the expansion and legal renewal of the cooperative sector in Cuba.
