The cooperative pedagogical current
Abstract
The present work constitutes the result of an extended reflection and study of what we understand as a signifier of cooperative education in education from the thought of Robert Owen in that area, putting it in tension with the current educational models. Successive educational reforms implemented throughout the world, with the euphemism of “quality education” and other denominations fail one after the other. On the other hand, there is a need also to publish this second work on this theme built on the basis of that work called “The genesis of Cooperative Pedagogy”, replicating substantial points of it, because it is necessary to insist that it is not possible to be faithful to the cooperative ideology implementing courses, conferences and seminars of cooperative education under the liberal pedagogical guidelines absorbed in the teacher training institutes. We have received many criticisms and some advice in our persistence that cooperativism has its sui genesis pedagogy. We wonder how cooperative education, imbued with liberal pedagogy —is expected to be due to format issues, or an incorrect conception of cooperativism— and also, as a result of the educational crisis, helps to transform or at least indicate changes that demand our societies.
