Digitalization in Mexican cooperative companies
Abstract
Cooperatives in Mexico and around the world are of great importance due to their social, economic, cultural, and humanistic development. However, they currently face a set of challenges in a globalized world. One of the main challenges is digitalization, which has become a key area of transformation in shaping their future. The adoption of new technologies, digital platforms, and similar tools is becoming increasingly urgent. Therefore, it is crucial to understand what is being done in this regard in our country and what progress has been made. One of the main obstacles is the lack of financial resources; however, it is urgent to seek solutions to face these challenges, given that cooperatives play a fundamental role, especially in rural areas and marginalized communities.
