Cooperative entreprises help to build a better world: the Central American case

Abstract

At the United Nations Millennium Summit (2000), the Millennium Declaration was drawn up and approved by the member states at the General Assembly. A closer look at the Millennium Development Goals shows that many of the essential elements of cooperativism are included. This article clarifies these goals and compares them with the cooperative principles, studying the case of Central America in depth.
