The Legal Nature of the Cooperative’s Activity in the Interests of its Members – Remarks Under Polish Law
Abstract
The Author considers the legal nature of the economic, social and cultural activity of the cooperative in Polish law. Considerations are focused on for profit and not for profit forms of economic activity of the cooperative, cooperative’s status as an entrepreneur, possibility of conducting activity in the general interest of the society, the formula of joint economic activity of the cooperative and democratic control of members over this activity. Also, the Author analysis the nature of the cooperative transaction in Polish law, including its model of regulation.
