Abstract

The role of the State in relation to cooperatives should be congruent with the potential benefits of the cooperative, with the constitutional guidelines for the system and not subject to simple oscillation of political perceptions. The favorable regulatory time must be used for expansion, consolidation and exemplary distinction of the cooperative credit system (or, more properly, cooperative financial system) through overcoming challenges with consistent management practices, efficient, but avoiding denaturation of cooperative as a society specie.
