Abstract

This paper examines the legislations of cooperatives and foundations and the civil codes of the Central American region and the Dominican Republic. A number of laws have been promoted that integrate NGOs, foundations and cooperatives. Comparison is only possible in terms of the possibilities that foundations in Costa Rica have regarding lucrative activities to strengthen their heritage.
