Cooperatives, foundations, civil societies in Central America. Possibilities of becoming more agile entities
Abstract
This paper examines the legislations of cooperatives and foundations and the civil codes of the Central American region and the Dominican Republic. A number of laws have been promoted that integrate NGOs, foundations and cooperatives. Comparison is only possible in terms of the possibilities that foundations in Costa Rica have regarding lucrative activities to strengthen their heritage.Received: 01 July 2013

5. Reuse of the article by the authors
Authors retain the right to present, display, distribute, develop, and republish their work, as long as they clearly indicate in the first footnote that the work was published in International Association of Cooperative Law Journal (BAIDC), for the first time, indicating the Issue number, year, pages, and DOI (if applicable).
