Cooperativism and University: past and present

Abstract

When cooperatives emerged in its current form during the height of the Industrial Revolution, the university was already an institution several times centenary. However, no relationship existed between them. They stayed away from each other for a long time and, even today, only a few cases have a relationship that goes beyond the circumstantial.
